Import Tool
Importing a number of records or a full dataset begins by selecting the Import tool[
]. That presents the first entry screen:

The basic process is that you must already have a file on your local system the corresponds to one of the supported import file types. At present, the system support these external file types:
- BibteX
- CSV (comma-separated values)
- TSV (tab-separated values)
- RDF+XML (RDF in the XML serialization)
- RDF+N3 (RDF in the N3 notation)
with JSON forthcoming shortly.
With an appropiate file, you pick the filetype from the dropdown list. You then give the dataset a name and a description of your choosing. The last step is to pick the network upon which you will save the dataset (most often that is the local framework, http://localhost/ws/, though it could actually the the Web address of any structWSF known to the network).
Depending on the size of the dataset, it may take some minutes for the complete upload. Soon a governor will be placed on this function with the option for batch uploads of very large datasets.
